Dosage forms generally include large capacity, small capacity, and powder injection types, among which the commonly used packaging forms for small capacity mainly include ampoules, injection bottles (Xilin bottles), pre filled syringes, etc. This article mainly describes commonly used glass injection bottles. The selection of drug packaging materials is crucial throughout the entire drug lifecycle, including production, transportation, storage, and use. Glass packaging has good stability and can be sterilized at high temperatures to ensure the sterility of drugs; Good sealing performance, can block water and oxygen, ensuring stable quality of drugs within their expiration date; High transparency is beneficial for observing and identifying the quality and condition of drugs. Colorless transparent glass should be used for general drugs, while brown transparent glass can be used for drugs that require light avoidance.
